Simply Rooted Boutique was a little store that I opened in 2011. During 2012, I met a crazy junker named Karen. Our passion for life and antiques made us a dynamic duo. We joined forces to take my shop on the road. I closed my store and we toured Iowa with our junk. After a hectic selling season we both longed to sell in the homeland again. Knowing it is a hard feat to conquer by oneself, Karen and I together opened a shop called Kalona Junction (Where Old Meets New). Then we ran into Emma and Kate, two Junkers who are more talented than we are, we got into business with them and now we moved our business to a bigger location.
