Labor of Love

I had to revamp my booth at Little Prairie Girl, and I wanted to do someone a little different, so I set to work and made chalkboards, metal magnetic boards, marquee signs and painted loads of furniture. I am exhausted, but I like the result:

Alice's Wonderland

I love meeting other women that have a flair for vintage and antique items. Alice is a friend of Karen's, and she has a beautiful antique shop in Mt. Vernon, Iowa called Alice's Wonderland. She has great taste. Check out the goods:

Lawn Chair Revamp

In my pile of neglected antiques, I found 3 old lawn chairs that were hideous. They were ugly wood and covered with gross green fabric. I ripped off the old fabric and gave the frames some layers of paint, then, i found the cutest outdoor fabric that i could find, did a little sewing and attached the new backing. I love how they turned out. They are for sale at Kalona Junction for $35 each.

Pink Begonia booth

I always get myself in too deep! And, I have done it again. I just opened booth number four. Like I can keep up with my other three.... Oh well, what's done is done, so I better keep creating and finding treasures to restock!
