I love this town.

The first Monday of every month here in Kalona is the Horse Sale. It's east of downtown and it is a ball! There is a mixture of Amish, cowboys and middle class folks -- one couldn't ask for more. I'm not very patient, so the process of waiting to bid on your desired horse is taxing.... but one day I'll find a beauty that's worth the bench warming.
