It's OPEN!

It is day two of Nutrishop's opening! Here are some pics to commemorate the event.

 They take a friendly approach to figure out your needs.

 Ha ha, ok, so my husband will be so mad when he figures out I posted these pictures. Oh, it's the small joys of life! He is great.

NutriShop Opening Monday!

So, while I've been running around working on my small town decor shop, my husband has been working on opening a shop of his own: Nutrishop, an awesome vitamin, sports nutrition and weight loss store.
And it finally opens on Monday in North Liberty, Iowa! He and his business partner have been working day and night to get the store finalized (with some help from friends). And here is the final presentation...

 

 The Shop is on 965 clear on the North side of town. In the new StoneBridge development. The building is beautiful.

Here are my favorite products.
Nature's Fuel. It's a powder multivitamin drink mix. My husband says the powdered form is important for maximum absorption, but really, I just like the taste.

These things kinda go with that, if it's in your budget. Nature's Greens has up to 9 servings of organic veggies!

It's also in powder form, and tastes amazing!




Oh, yeah, I also take a protein so I can have energy all day (it's the ones in the red jug).

My husband takes some other products, I don't even know what they are...they're a little more for his motivation to get buff.

I love this town.

The first Monday of every month here in Kalona is the Horse Sale. It's east of downtown and it is a ball! There is a mixture of Amish, cowboys and middle class folks -- one couldn't ask for more. I'm not very patient, so the process of waiting to bid on your desired horse is taxing.... but one day I'll find a beauty that's worth the bench warming.

Perks of the Job

Well, owning a shop isn't all roses... You would have heard me cursing the world this morning shoveling the two foot of snow outside my door. But, the thing that makes this job awesome is selecting clothes to sell! How fun, right?!? I can just shop in my PJ's... buying clothes in bulk at the click of a button, put it on the credit card and call it a day.

As Iron Sharpens Iron...

So, my cousin Molly has an eye for style and is quite the helper. She has been at the shop helping me to reorganize and dream big.

So, if you see this Iowa girl around, give her a smile from me.

Project Dressing Room

Oh, hello blog. It has been a while. But, don't hate me, I have been very busy.... turning my Home Decor boutique into a Clothing/Home Decor Boutique. Imagine Anthropologie on a hick-town budget.

Operation: Dressing Room
Being a reclaimer by nature, I went to my husband's family farm and took some old barn boards to build the new dressing rooms. I hope his dad doesn't notice that the sides of his barns are slowly disappearing...
